Custom Keyboards

How It Works:

At Function Up Tech, we can build you the custom, mechanical keyboard you've been dreaming about. We work with mechanical hot swap keyboards so you can choose your own parts and we will complete the build/mod based on your preferences.

When filling out the form below, you'll send me links to the products you would like to build out your custom keyboard. Note: I DO NOT SELL KEYBOARD PARTS FROM MY WEBSITE.

I'll review your selections to ensure they should work to build out your keyboard and will purchase the parts. From there, I'll get building, after I confirm the details of your order! Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion, due to ordering the various parts.

What If I Don't Know What Parts I Want?

We're happy to help make suggestions on what parts to order based on your preferences. Just reach out to us, via FunctionUpTech@gmail.com or through our contact form with your questions.

Step 1: Choose Your Mechanical Keyboard

IMPORTANT! It must be hot swappable!

Step 2: Choose Your Switches

Step 3: Choose Your Keycaps

(This step is optional. You can also just use the switches that came with your keyboard.)

Step 4: Choose Your Mods

Choose between tape mod, foam mod, and/or force break mods.

Step 5: Choose your Accessories

Choose your accessories such as braided cables, etc.

Step 6: Payment

Make your deposit so we can get started.

What It Costs:

Before I begin to build your keyboard, you will send me a deposit for the project via a secure payment link for $70. This is the build cost.

After the project is completed, I'll send you an invoice for the total of the parts you picked for the keyboard and estimated shipping costs. You must pay in full before I ship you your keyboard.

Cost Breakdown:

The parts you purchased + the shipping cost of those parts to Function Up Tech.
The custom build out: $70
Shipping: Estimated upon completion of the build out.

How Does Shipping Work?

I'll order and ship all of your chosen components to Function Up Tech. From there, I'll build your custom keyboard and will get you a shipping quote, so you can choose your shipping option upon completion.

What's Next?

I'll review your order and will contact you to ensure the parts you've chosen will work. From there, I'll collect payment for the build cost. So, look out for an email from functionuptech@gmail.com as we work together on building your keyboard!
